Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Three Districts Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here issued thunderstorm warning for three districts of Odisha on Saturday.

The districts are Khurda, Cuttack and Dhenkanal.

According to the IMD bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied by hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching up to 50 to 60 kmph is likely to occur at these three districts between 3 pm and 7 pm.

The Met has also advised the people of these areas to take precautions during the adverse weather conditions and stay indoors.

The temperature in the next two days is expected to rise and may reach 42 degrees Celsius in the many parts of the state, the bulletin added.
