Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light rain is likely to affect some parts of several districts in Odisha within the next couple of hours.
According to a bulletin issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre at 8.30 pm, the districts which have been warned are Nuapada, Bargarh, Balangir, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Malkangiri, Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Ganjam, Gajapati and Dhenkanal.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
