Tiger Cubs Unwell, Nandankanan Zoo Seeks Help Of Experts From Outside

Bhubaneswar: With the condition of tiger cubs Luv and Kush yet to improve, the authorities of Nandankanan Zoological Park have sought the help of experts from Chennai zoo and the Indian Veterinary Research Institute.

According to sources, Luv is limping on its left hind limb since January 26 and Kush is suffering from paralysis on both hind limbs.

Doctors of OUAT Centre For Wildlife are also involved with the team treating the tiger cubs.

As there has been no improvement in their health condition suggestion of experts from outside states have been sought.

Notably, white tigress Sneha had given birth to the two cubs a year back. The total number of tigers in Nandankanan Zoo now is 27.
