Mumbai: Tiger Shroff’s team has shared a video showing marks on the actor’s skin, offering a possible explanation for the bandages seen in his first pictures after the firing incident in Mumbai.
On October 18, three assailants allegedly opened fire in Juhu. While Tiger did not sustain any reported gunshot wounds, his driver and a bystander were injured.
The official Team Tiger Shroff Instagram page shared a brief video on Thursday, showing brown specks across the inner side of the actor’s arm that resemble burn marks.
The marks appear consistent with possible gunpowder residue, which can leave dark specks on the skin in a phenomenon known as powder tattooing.
The affected areas also appear to correspond with the parts of Tiger’s arm covered by bandages when he met Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. However, the exact cause of the marks has not been confirmed.
The video comes amid questions from fans about Tiger’s bandages, as police had not reported any injuries to the actor.
His father, Jackie Shroff, and sister, Krishna Shroff, reacted to the post with folded-hands and other emojis.
His mother, Ayesha Shroff, commented, “God is great,” in response to the team’s caption, “God is kind.”
Following the firing incident, Tiger’s team also issued a statement warning against the spread of misinformation and the circulation of AI-generated videos related to the attack.
“We would like to categorically clarify that Tiger Shroff has made no statements, released no videos, and authorised no communication regarding the recent incident or any related developments,” read an excerpt from the statement.
The team added, “It has come to our attention that several social media pages and digital platforms are circulating fabricated stories, AI-generated videos and scripted narratives, falsely attributed to Tiger. These are completely false, unauthorised and intended to mislead the public.”
The team also warned that those found spreading misinformation could face legal action.
Meanwhile, police made the first arrests within hours of the firing incident, detaining three suspects in Kota before bringing them to Mumbai.
Gangster Anil Pandit, an alleged close aide of Lawrence Bishnoi, later claimed responsibility for the firing in a social media post.
Four suspects have been identified as Kunal, 21, and Sumit, 19, from Haryana’s Sonipat district, and Radha and Babita, both 23, from Uttar Pradesh.
A total of 10 people have been arrested in connection with the case so far.
