Berhampur: Making TikTok videos cost a youth his life after the motorcycle he was riding hit a stationary truck near an overbridge at Khajuria, on outskirts of Berhampur.
According to sources, the deceased, identified as Shiva Shankar Sahoo, along with his brother-in-law Siba Patro made two videos in front of Maa Taratarini Temple after offering prayers at the shrine on Wednesday. They continued clicking selfies and making videos while riding back home. The bike crashed into the truck while they were busy shooting TikTok videos on a smartphone.
The duo with critical injuries was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared Sahoo as dead, the sources added.
