Timber Worth Rs 2 Lakh Seized During Raid In Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur: The Vigilance sleuths on Monday raided a saw mill operating illegally at Kamli Bazar under Khetrajpur police limits in Sambalpur district on Monday.

During the raid, saw mill equipment along with 5.88 cft timber worth Rs 2 lakh were seized.

A forest case has been registered under Town Range, Sambalpur Forest Division. 

The joint forest raid was conducted by forest unit of Sambalpur Vigilance division with the assistance of local forest staff of Sambalpur Forest Division.
