Bhubaneswar: Even as the state government is yet to announce the arrangements for Maha Shiv Ratri celebration at Lingaraj Temple in the city, the Temple Trust Board has decided on the timing of the Mahadeep rituals.
The Lingaraj Temple Trust Board has held consultation with different sevayat nijogs regarding the timing of the rituals of Maha Shiv Ratri on Marh 11.
It has been decided following the discussions that the Mahadeep will be taken atop the temple at 10 PM, informed executive officer Prasanna Kumar Das.
Every year, the Shiv Ratri is celebrated with pomp and grandeur with thousands of devotees thronging the Lingaraj temple, considered an important shrine of Shivites.
