Mumbai: Two back-to-back cryptic post by Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, known for his thought-provoking tweets on his official X handle, sparked confusion as well as concern among millions of his fans.
The 82-year-old actor, still a dominant force in the industry, shared: “T 5282—..was when-ting to go..but going got went!” on Saturday, a couple of days after tweeting, “ T5281- Time to go”, drawing attention of the X users.
Trying to make sense of two tweets, a concerned fan commented, “when the going gets tough, the tough get going ..”
The previous post had led to speculation that the Big B might be hinting at retirement, health concerns, or even a farewell.
Fans filled more comments with questions and messages of support, including, “Sir… take care… you are an inspiration to lakhs of people.”
Another fan commented, “Wherever you go, be happy always…”
Some expressed deep emotions, pleading, “Dear Amitabh sir, your tweet feels personal. Wishing you good health and well-being.”
However, others attempted to lighten the mood, speculating that the tweet might simply mean Bachchan was signing off after a long day.
The cryptic posts came just days after Bachchan celebrated his son Abhishek Bachchan’s 49th birthday. In a touching gesture, the legendary actor shared a nostalgic photo from 1976, capturing a rare moment from Abhishek’s birth in the hospital.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 and most recently appeared in the film, sharing the screen with Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati.
