Bhubaneswar: The timeline for e-admission into undergraduate courses for the 2022-23 academic year in Odisha has been revised.
The Higher Education department has revised the timeline for e-admissions in all Plus III degree Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) including self-financing courses and Sanskrit degree course under Student Academic Management System (SAMS), sources said on Sunday.
The common application form is already available on the SAMS website and the last date to apply online is September 1, 2022, while the first selection merit list is scheduled for publication on September 7, they said.
For first selection, admission and online data updation of admitted students will continue from September 7 to 11 including Sunday.
The second merit list is scheduled to be published on September 16 and admission and online data updation of admitted students will continue up to September 19, they said.
The SAMS website is slated to publish vacant seats and e-space of higher educational institutions on September 20. From September 21 to 23, filling of SPOT admission will be available in the existing applicant’s login with new choices, maximum 5 choices with respect to higher educational institutions and subjects. SPOT selection merit list will be published on September 28.
Availibility of intimation letter will be made in applicant’s login for SPOT admission from September 28 to October 1. Document verification and admission of the selected applicants for SPOT admission will also be undertaken from September 28 to October 1.
Final admission data updation will be done in the e-space of respective institutions for SPOT admission on October 1.
Admission fees will be collected at respective higher educational institutions after completion of all phases of e-admission process for which dates is to be notified by the department later, the sources added.
