Bhubaneswar: Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), the faculty of engineering and technology of the SOA Deemed to be University, has been ranked No. 23 in India as per the Times Engineering Ranking Survey 2020 published on Friday.
Bhubaneswar-based ITER, which was launched in the 1996-97 academic year, is among only two engineering institutions from Odisha to have got a place among the top 25 in the country. IIT Bhubaneswar is the other one, ranked 4th in eastern India and 15th among the country’s top 100 private engineering institutes.
As far as research capability is concerned, ITER is in eighth place among top 20 institutes in the country, while in placement, it occupies 13th position among top 50 private institutes.
