Tired Of Kneading Atta In This Pandemic? Get A Food Processor Or Dough Kneader

Kneading atta is quite a tiring process. With maids not on duty during the COVID-19 pandemic, here’s what you can do to ease neck and shoulder pain caused by making atta dough.

Atta kneaders are simple machines very similar to a mixer grinder with a broad plastic blade. There are two options — a dedicated atta kneader or a food processor.

How effective are they?

We have talked to numerous users who swear by these machines. “I have been using a Braun food processor for more than 20 years after being diagnosed with spondylitis. It has made my life easier and I definitely recommend this to everybody,” said Pushpita Garabadu, a homemaker in Cuttack. Kalpana Mishra, a retired reader, uses a Prestige atta kneader. “This has helped a lot during the lockdown when we had to do without our house-help,” said Mishra.
