Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha, which recorded average 35 degree Celsius on Friday, are likely to receive rainfall accompanied with lightning on Saturday.
According to India Meteorological Department, thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall at one or two places are likely in Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Nawarangpur, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Boudh, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Khurda, Deogarh and Sundargarh districts in next 24 hours.
With summer heat prevailing in almost all parts of the State, Titlagarh sizzled at 42 degree Celsius during the day. It was the highest temperature in the State. With 32.3 degree, Paradip recorded the lowest temperature.
