TMC Leader Babul Supriyo Tests COVID Positive Third Time

Kolkata: Former Lok Sabha member and TMC leader Babul Supriyo, has tested positive for COVID-19 for the third time.

In a tweet he confirmed that he, his wife, father and other members of his staff have tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday. He had first tested positive in November 2020, April 2021 and now.

In the tweet, he said, “Me, my wife, Dad, multiple staff, hv all tested positive, but my concern is the superhigh Rs.61000/- price of the Cocktail jab that needs to be given SOS to seriously ill #COVID19 patientsDad who is 84, needed the jab SOS & I hv to buy it on-the-spot Hw can the EWS afford it?”

Supriyo raised questions about the high price (Rs 61,000) of the Cocktail vaccine that needs to be given to seriously ill Covid-19 patients in the chain of tweets. His 84-year-old father required the vaccine and he had to buy it on the spot.
