Sundargarh: A toll plaza staffer allegedly misbehaved with Odisha Labour and Rural Development Minister Susanta Singh on Biju Expressway at Masunikani in Sundargarh district, late on Saturday night.
Reports say the incident took place when Singh was heading towards Sundargarh in his car to attend diamond jubilee of a government college here. As the vehicle reached the toll plaza, a staffer asked for toll.
Though the PSO of the minister told the toll plaza staffer about Singh’s presence in the car, the accused reportedly misbehaved with the minister.
The minister later called a meeting with the Sundargarh District Collector, administrative officials, toll gate managers and cops and warned the staffers of their unruly behaviour towards commuters.
Following this, Bhasma police registered a case regarding the incident and detained three staffers for questioning, sources said.
