New Delhi: After Brad Pitt’s children, Hollywood star Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter Suri has dropped her father’s surname.
The 18-year-old graduated from LaGuardia High School under the name “Suri Noelle”, which was also used earlier in the year when she participated in the play ‘Head Over Heels’ in her school. “Noelle” is Katie Holmes’ middle name,
Katie Holmes was by her side during the graduation ceremony while Tom Cruise missed the celebrations to attend Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in London, where he is filming for the next ‘Mission: Impossible’ film, Page Six reported.
Suri Noelle will attend Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
Tom Cruise relationship with his daughter has not been rosy since his divorce from Katie Holmes in 2012 though the actor has denied and called it rumours.
This comes weeks after Brad Pitt’s children, Shiloh and Vivienne, dropped their surname, and are now being called Shiloh Nouvel Jolie and Vivienne Jolie.
Long before them, Angelina Jolie had dropped the last name of his father veteran actor Jon Voight. She too had a strained relationship with her father. Now Angelina and Brad Pitt’s three children, Shiloh (18), Vivienne (15) and Zahara (19) are using Jolie as their last name and not Jolie-Pitt.
