Bhubaneswar: The total COVID-19 tally in Odisha inched closer to the million mark on Thursday by rising to 974,132 cases. Of these, 17262 are active cases.
Meanwhile, the government reported 1615 fresh infections in the last 24 hours in the state. On the positive side, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at a low of 2.09%.
Among the districts, Khurda reported the highest 442 new cases, followed by Cuttack (229) and Puri (123).
