Puri: Fire Service personnel began a search operation for a tourist who was feared drowned while bathing at the Blue Flag beach in Puri on Tuesday.
Eyewitnesses said that a family from Jharkhand was bathing near Digabareni area of the beach when a strong current dragged one of them into the deep sea.
Following information, a team of Fire Service personnel rushed to the spot and began a search operation with the help of local fishermen.
The identity of the missing tourist was not immediately known.
