Bengaluru: Japanese carmaker Toyota on Wednesday launched a car leasing and subscription programme in India called Toyota Mobility Services. It has partnered with ‘Kinto’, under Toyota Financial Services, ALD Automotive India and SMAS Auto Leasing India Pvt. Ltd to provide the new service.
Users can lease Toyota vehicles such as the Glanza, Yaris, Innova Crysta, Fortuner or the upcoming Urban Cruiser for 3-5 years and pay a fixed monthly fee.
Vehicle maintenance, insurance and roadside assistance will all be included in the fee. There are also short-term subscription plans of 24-48 months. Leasing will help with tax benefits for corporate employees.
The service will roll out in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai initially. Ten more cities will be added within a year.
Similarly, Morris Garages (MG) has partnered with Zoomcar to provide 12, 24 and 36-month subscription services of its vehicles. MG also has a tie-up with Myles subscription service.
