Toyota Updates Fortuner And Innova Crysta

 

Bengaluru: Toyota Kirloskar has given a mid-life update to its popular Innova Crysta and Fortuner.

 

The Innova Crysta will now have new safety features such as an anti-theft alarm with glass break and ultrasonic sensor and an emergency brake signal. It will also have new rear fog lamps, front LED fog lamps, touchscreen display audio with steering control, retractable mirror, speed and impact sensitive door lock and unlock feature.

 

The Toyota Innova Crysta range will now start at Rs 14.65 lakh and goes up to Rs 22.01 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Fortuner will now retail from Rs 27.27 lakh to Rs 32.97 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

 

The Fortuner SUV has been updated with an anti-theft alarm with glass break and ultrasonic sensor, emergency brake signal, passenger side power seat, rear fog lamp and electro-chromic inside rear view mirror (IRVM).

 

The company’s Deputy Managing Director, N Raja stated that the Innova Crysta and Fortuner have been very successful in the country and they have put together 52,000 units in the last eight months. He also said that the brand Innova has become an icon in India and has sold over 7.6 lakh units so far. The safety features added will be beneficial to the Innovas being used in the commercial sector, he added.
