Bhubaneswar: The test positivity rate (TPR) in Odisha stood at 2.9 per cent for the second consecutive day on Thursday with 2110 fresh COVID-19 infections being detected from 72322 samples sent for test.
According to the I & PR department, 1213 are from quarantine and 897 are local contact cases.
Khurda district registered the highest 458 new infections, followed by Cuttack (323) and Balasore (168).

With this, Odisha now has 22299 active cases. Khurda and Cuttack were in the Red Zone till Wednesday with 4753 and 3191 active cases. In TPR, Puri (7), Nayagarh (6.2), Cuttack (5.2) and Jagatsingh (5.6) are in the orange zone.
