TPSODL Opens 2 New Offices To Improve Operational Efficiency In Odisha’s Koraput

Bhubaneswar: The TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) has taken a significant step toward improving electricity services in remote areas by inaugurating two modern sub-bivision office buildings in Odisha’s Koraput district.

The new facilities – the Jeypore-I Sub-Division Office and the Laxmipur Sub-Division Office – were officially opened by TPSODL CEO Amit Kumar Garg, accompanied by senior company officials.

These state-of-the-art offices are part of TPSODL’s broader effort to upgrade infrastructure across southern Odisha, making power distribution more accessible,

efficient, and customer-focused, particularly in hard-to-reach and geographically challenging regions, a release by the Discom said.

The buildings feature modern amenities, including dedicated billing counters and enhanced customer service areas, designed to speed up complaint resolution and streamline service delivery. The upgraded facilities will also improve coordination among field staff, enabling faster responses to issues and more effective on-site operations, it added.

Speaking at the inauguration, Garg emphasized the importance of the new offices. “Strengthening our physical infrastructure is essential for better service at the grassroots level. These sub-division offices demonstrate TPSODL’s ongoing dedication to accessibility, efficiency, and putting consumers first. By bringing services closer to the people – especially in difficult terrain – we aim to build greater trust, improve responsiveness, and deliver a superior experience for our customers,” he said.
