Angul: Armed criminals robbed a trader of Rs 1.5 lakh in cash at Sabalabhanga village under Jarpada police limits of Angul district on Thursday morning.
Reports said Dambaru Sahu was on his way to Jarpada to purchase goats when he was intercepted by three crimimals who came on a bike and snatched his cash bag containing Rs 1.5 lakh after attacking him with a sharp weapon near Amantapur.
Sahu, who sustained a deep wound on his right hand, was rushed to the district headquarters hospital for treatment.
Police have launched a manhunt to nab the criminals.
