Khurda: A fish trader was robbed of Rs 2 lakh near Jatni Bypass Chhak in Khurda district on Tuesday night.
According to available information, three unidentified miscreants came on a motorcycle and intercepted the pick-up van in which he was travelling. One of the miscreants took out a gun, pointed it at the victim and snatched away the bag containing money from him.
Following the incident, the trader lodged a complaint at Industrial Police Outpost here.
Police suspect that some persons known to the victim might have plotted the robbery as they knew where he had kept the money.
However, raids are being conducted by the cops at different places in Jatni and nearby places to nab the criminals.
