Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Friday alerted Bhubaneswar denizens about anticipated traffic congestion along Acharya Vihar Square to Keshari Talkies and Ram Mandir Square to Housing Board Square stretches from 5 pm till midnight due to VIP movement.
“For better traffic management and to mitigate inconvenience to the public, temporary traffic diversions will be implemented along the affected routes to facilitate the smooth movement of VIP/VVIP/Protectees,” the traffic advisory said.
It further advised people to avoid the affected areas, use alternate routes whenever possible and plan their travel accordingly, allowing extra time to reach their destinations. “Commissionerate Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack request all residents and commuters to cooperate and follow the instructions of traffic personnel for smooth management during this period,” it added.
