Cuttack: The Commissionerate Police Bhubaneswar-Cuttack on Thursday released traffic restrictions for smooth conduct of Durga Puja in Odisha’s Cuttack city.
The restrictions will be imposed between 4 pm and 2 am from October 20-24 for the convenience and safety of general public, the post on X (formerly Twitter) said.
No vehicles will be allowed to ply on these roads:
These regulations, however, will not apply to police, fire brigade, excise, ambulance and other emergency vehicles.
While requesting the public to plan their route accordingly, Commissionerate Police Bhubaneswar-Cuttack said that any violation of the order will attract a minimum penalty of Rs 500, which can extend up to Rs 1000.
