Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police on Thursday issued an advisory on
traffic restrictions during the state level celebration of Republic
Day in Bhubaneswar.
Restrictions and road diversions will be imposed during rehearsals for
the state level parade on January 21 and 22.
No vehicle will be allowed to move towards Master Canteen Square,
neither from Raj Mahal nor Ram Mandir side from 6:30 am till the parade
concludes on January 26.
However, two wheelers and other light vehicles shall be allowed to ply
from both these sides up to Master Canteen Square. But, their movement
will be restricted on PMG Square, a notification released by
Commissionerate Police stated.
Similarly, restriction will be imposed on movement of vehicles towards
PMG Square from AG Square by diverting the traffic from Jaydev Bhawan
towards IDCOL Auditorium.
Besides, vehicles coming from 120 Infantry side shall be diverted
towards Unit-4.
Parking arrangements have been made at seven places including BDA bus
stand near railway station and open space near Congress Bhawan.
