Bhubaneswar: A team of women police officers led by traffic DCP Sagarika Nath distributed sanitary napkins and sanitisers in the containment zones of Odisha’s capital city.
According to reports, scores of women from Bhubaneswar’s containment zone Surya Nagar lined up to collect these essential commodities.
The state government declared Surya Nagar to be a containment zone after a corona positive case was confirmed in this area.
The area has been sealed and police personnel have been deployed there.
As women in this zone cannot step out, traffic DCP Sagarika Nath took the initiative of supplying these essential items to them.
