Bhubaneswar: The Police Commissionerate has decided to divert traffic at Khandagiri Square in Odisha Capital during night for the next two months for construction of grade separator structure on NH-16 by the NHAI.
In a release, Twin City Commissionerate Police stated that traffic diversion shall be undertaken for construction of grade separator structure at Khandagiri Square during night hours from 11 pm to 5 am, subject to fulfillment of the conditions laid down by NHAI in the proposed traffic diversion plan.
– All vehicles coming from Khurda side intending to go towards Bhubaneswar will be diverted before Kolathia Square on the LHS towards RHS up to Prachi Hotels & Resort (Khandagiri PS service road), where the vehicles will again enter the LHS through the median cut (in front of Prachi Hotel) just before the starting point of Baramunda overbridge.
– The entire service road on the RHS (Khandagiri PS service road) starting from Prachi Hotel & Resort to the median cut just before the Kolathia Chhak will be barricaded into two ways for facilitating movement on both sides. The vehicle coming from Bhubaneswar intending to go towards Khurda will ply on their normal route.
* The vehicles coming from Jagamara intending to go towards Khandagiri/Udayagiri hills and vice versa will ply on their normal route.
