Traffic Diversion On Bhubaneswar-Cuttack NH For 30 Days; Check Details

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has issued a traffic diversion advisory for commuters on the national highway between the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack in view of a vehicular under pass (VUP).

The traffic diversion will be implemented for a period of 30 days from June 21, 2023.

“There is a need for diversion of the vehicles for free flow of traffic at Audi Showroom and Utkal Heights road for safety and security of commuters. During the construction work of VUP located at Audi showroom and Utkal Heights and subsequent traffic diversion plan submitted by PD NHAI / EPC agency for diversion of traffic shall be implemented,” as per a public notice issued by the Commissionerate Police.

According to the traffic advisory, all the vehicles moving from the Bhubaneswar side intending to go towards Utkal Heights will avail the service road from Symphony Mall and proceed towards Pahal VUP and take a right turn and proceed towards the main carriageway i.e. NH-16 through the service road and then take a left turn after the end of a flyover in front of Utkal Heights.

Similarly, the vehicles from Cuttack side intending to go towards Utkal Heights also proceed through NH-16 and then take a left turn after the end of the flyover in front of Utkal Heights.
