Bhubaneswar: In view of the monsoon session of the Odisha Assembly from September 22, the Commissionerate Police has announced restrictions on vehicular traffic in Bhubaneswar.
The Commissionerate Police, in a release on Thursday, stated that the restrictions on movement of the vehicular traffic have been imposed in view of the security concern for the Assembly during the session from September 22 to October 4.
It has announced following changes in traffic movement during the Assembly session:
However, the restrictions will not be applicable for the vehicles engaged in emergency services and ambulances. Besides the vehicles authorised to go to the Assembly, Secretariat and other official buildings are also exempted.
