New Delhi: Panic gripped passenger at New Delhi railway station after a fire erupted in the power car of Chandigarh-Kochuvalli Express on Friday.
The fire was reported around 1.40 pm on platform no. 8.
According to northern railway officials, fire tenders were rushed to the site to douse the flames and the power car detached from the train to stop the fire from spreading.
The reason for the fire is yet to ascertained.
