Koraput: In a tragic incident, a railway signal technician was killed after being hit by a train at Koraput station on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as D. Bhattacharya.
Two other railway employees, who suffered severe injuries in the accident, were rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
According to available information, Bhattacharya was carrying out repair work on track no-3 of the station when a light engine hit him. He died on the spot.
