Puri: A woman died after being run over by a train at Delang in Odisha’s Puri district on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Pama Behera of Golasahi.
According to sources, Pama and three other women were crossing the train line this morning when Puri–Barbil Express was approaching towards them.
Although the three women managed to save themselves, Pama was hit by the train and succumbed on the spot.
On being informed, Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered the body and initiated a probe into the matter.
