Bhadrak: Train services were disrupted in Odisha’s Bhadrak station after an electrical tower fell due to strong winds and rain, a senior railway official said.
The electrical tower fell due to rain and strong winds on Monday evening, disrupting up and down services.
“At around 7:30 pm, due to strong winds and rain, the electric lightning tower fell. As a result, train services on up and down lines were disrupted. All lines will be restored soon”, ADRM of Khurda division Pradip Kumar Behra was quoted by ANI as saying.
Railway officials have launched an operation to ensure quick restoration of train services. Efforts are underway to clear the affected lines and resume normal train operations at the earliest, a senior official said.
