Bhubaneswar: The Strategic Forces Command successfully carried out training launch of a Medium-Range Ballistic Missile Agni-1 from APJ Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha coast on Thursday.
The user training launch of the missile successfully validated all operational and technical parameters of the missile, said a release of the Ministry of Defence.
The missile is a proven system, capable of striking targets with a very high degree of precision, the release added.
