Bhubaneswar: The 18109 Sambalpur-Muri-Jammu Tawi Link Express, which departed from Sambalpur on Friday, was short-terminated at Muri junction in South Eastern Railway due to serious law and order issue in Punjab, Haryana and areas beyond New Delhi. Service of the above train between Muri and Jammu Tawi has been cancelled, railway sources said.
Similarly, in view of heavy rain and water overflowing on railway tracks in Katihar Division of North Frontier Railway causing breaches in train line recently, some trains towards and passing through East Coast Railway jurisdiction have been cancelled, the sources added.
