Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has issued the following updates on disruption in train services due to waterlogging and heavy rain.
1. The down line between Khurda Road and Bhubaneswar on which trains were suspended due to water flowing near tracks has been certified fit. The middle line situated at a lower level, is still closed.
2. Tracks between Hirakud Godbhaga have been closed due to heavy rain between Rengali and Attabira near Sambalpur.
3. The Railways are patrolling vulnerable areas and have activated the emergency control room.
Trains Rescheduled
2. 18416/18414 Puri Kendujhargarh link express rescheduled to leave at 0800 hrs instead of 0600 hrs on July 22 due to late arrival of link rake.
3. 58409 Khurda Road-Puri Passenger has been cancelled on July 22.
Trains Short Terminated
2. 58002 Puri-Howrah Passenger will start from Bhubaneswar New Station instead of Puri.
