Tripura Police Constable’s Body Recovered From Puri Sea Beach

Puri: The body of Tripura police constable was recovered from the sea beach near Penthakata in Puri on Thursday.

The deceased identified as, Suman Nath had gone reportedly missing since Wednesday.

Some locals spotted the body and informed the police, who recovered it and sent for autopsy.

According to sources, Suman had come to the pilgrim town along with his family on a vacation and putting up in a hotel located on Chakratirtha Road. However, he left the room where he was staying and did not return back.

Following the incident, his family members started searching for him and later lodged a complaint at Sea Beach police station.

Though the reason behind the death is yet to be known, locals suspect that the constable has committed suicide.
