Mumbai: Amid linkup rumours with Vijay, actor Trisha Krishnan dismissed rumours about quitting films, and also addressed speculation about marriage and kids.
Speculation about Trisha’s career gained traction after actor-journalist Chithra Lakshmanan, who runs the YouTube channel Touring Talkies, claimed that Tamil producers had suggested she might be planning to quit acting.
He also pointed out that she has not announced any new projects, which further fuelled the rumours.
However, Trisha ha
s now responded to the claims, dismissing them as baseless and untrue.
Slamming these rumours in a note on her Instagram stories, Trisha wrote, “Apparently, I’ve quit films, married a rich business man and I’m raising quadruplets who turned two yesterday! Anything else I should add or did we cover today’s fiction quota?”
Speculation about Trisha stepping away from films grew stronger after her recent Instagram Stories post.
“Love is not everything, and yet everything is meaningless without love,” she wrote.
The actor was also referring to earlier reports, from October 2025, which claimed that Trisha was set to marry a Chandigarh-based businessman.
“I love when people plan my life for me. Just waiting for them to plan the honeymoon too,” she had written.
