New Delhi: Tormented by heat, Atul Sanware, an advocate from Bilhaur, Kanpur has penned a letter to Lord Indra. As per religious beliefs, Lord Indra is the god of rain and storms in Hinduism. In the letter, the advocate requested God to provide respite to Kanpur from heat, News18 reported.
Sanware wrote that Kanpur has been experiencing scorching heat for the past several days due to which people are extremely upset. According to Atul, this letter will convey the common man’s grievances to Lord Indra regarding the terrible heat so that he can save natives from high temperatures. In the letter to the Lord, the Kanpur-based advocate has appealed to bring down the severe temperature down by heavy rains.
The letter’s contents start with a salutation, in the name of Indradev Ji Maharaj, who is considered the lord of heaven. The Kanpur-based advocate then asks about the lord’s well-being and writes that his blessings are bestowed on all the creatures of the mortal world. Atul writes that June’s blazing heat has traumatised the creatures and they are losing their lives as well, the report added.
Atul added further that it is a humble request to you that heavy rainfall is very important to protect the animals and human beings. According to him, rain is the only thing now that can protect mankind. The advocate also wrote that Lord Indra should request the Pawan Dev (Vayu) to circulate the air every day. Atul also requested a word of caution for Lord Indra that along with heavy rains, hailstorms should not occur.
Social media users have agreed with the Kanpur-based advocate’s comments. They mentioned that only Lord Indra can provide respite to people from the blazing temperatures.
