Rayagada: Bisamkatak police in Rayagada district on Saturday nabbed three persons, including the driver and helper, after the seizure of 140 bags of bhang and khaini (powdered tobacco) from a mini truck on Friday night.
Sources said that the mini truck was on way to Rayagada from Rupra Road area in Balangir district with a sticker ‘PDS Rice’ on the front glass window when it was detained by police at Bisamkatak.
The cops later took the truck to the police station and seized the narcotics worth over Rs 8 lakh.
