Paradip: A truck fell into a river near Bhutamundai Bridge on Chandikhole-Paradip road late on Friday.
Rescue operations are underway by ODRAF and fire officials to find survivors. The accident occurred when the ill-fated vehicle veered off a bridge and fell 20 feet down in the water body, a police officer informed.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident took place after the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle allegedly due to excessive speed and hit a barricade, before plunging into the river.
