Bhubaneswar: A man was killed after a truck rammed into an iron beam-laden trailer truck on the flyover near Fire Station Square on NH-16 in the Odisha capital on Wednesday afternoon.
According to sources, the trailer truck had stopped on the national highway after developing some technical glitches. In the afternoon, a speeding truck rammed into it and the driver sustained grievous injuries in the accident.
He was rushed to a hospital by police but succumbed.
Meanwhile, ODRAF personnel have reached the spot to remove the truck that was pierced with iron beams loaded in the trailer.
