Tokyo: Japan experienced another strong earthquake on Saturday, shaking up buildings in the capital city of Tokyo and triggering a tsunami warning for Miyagi prefecture, in the country’s northeast coast.
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the quake measured 7.2 on Richter scale and was centred 34 km east of Ishinomaki (Miyagi prefecture), at a depth of 60 km. The earthquake hit Japan around 6.10 pm (local time).
