Mumbai: On the occasion of Janmashtami, Kangana Ranaut shared a video on social media, giving fans a glimpse of her festive preparations at her home in Manali. In the video, she was seen preparing a special bhog for the occasion.
The video soon went viral, with one user on X pointing out what they believed was a mistake in the cooking process.
The user claimed that Kangana had not switched on the gas stove even though the utensil she was using appeared blackened.
Kangana was quick to notice the comment and responded to the criticism.
Hitting back at the troll, Kangana clarified, “Yeh halwa nahi bhog hai (This is a separate dish), many ingredients are prepared separately and then all are mixed in this phase, before setting and then cutting it into pieces. Can’t expect cooking skills from people who are a burden on parents and the planet, tum sirf khaane pe dhyaan do (you focus on eating only), don’t worry about cooking.”

Last month, Kangana sparked controversy after describing some young Hindu women who, according to her, flaunt freedom without accountability as “generation gutter”.
Her remarks drew criticism from yoga guru Swami Ramdev, who reportedly called the statement a reflection of a “spoilt mind” and urged her political party to take note.
Kangana hit back at him, asking him to take note of his Supreme Court case.
However, the two appeared to put their public feud behind them on Raksha Bandhan.
Kangana shared a video on her Instagram Stories featuring Ramdev speaking to reporters about putting their differences aside. He expressed his desire to end the feud and turn it into a conversation instead.
Ramdev also said he had a Rakhi gift for Kangana and would call her to wish her on the occasion.
Kangana welcomed the gesture, writing, “Tyohar ka din hota hai sab bhool chook maaf karne ke liye hai, mere Bhai Baba Ram Dev ji ne bahut achcha kaha ki vivaad nahi, samvaad hona chahiye (All mistakes are forgiven on the day of the festival. My brother Baba Ramdev has rightly said that it must not be a debate but a conversation).”
She further accepted Ramdev’s gesture, adding, “Aaj Rakshabandhan ke din main unki mithai aur bade bhai ka prem dono swikaar karti hoon. Bahut dhanyawad. Ishwar Aapko lambi aayu de (On the day of Raksha Bandhan, I accept the sweets and the love offered by a big brother. Thank you so much, may God grant you a long life).”
