Sundargarh: A woman succumbed to burn injuries after the TV set in her home exploded in Sundargarh district, police said on Saturday.

The woman’s husband and six-month-old daughter are fighting for their lives after the explosion following a suspected electrical short circuit on Friday evening.

Police said the deceased, Bobby Nayak, was a resident of Lahandabuda village near Dhuruhadihi in the district. She was watching a serial on TV with her husband, Dileshwar Nayak, and their daughter when it exploded.
