TVS Launches iQube Electric Electric Scooter In India

Electric vehicles are here. TVS has now launched a new electric scooter named iQube at a price tag of Rs 1.15 lakh (on-road, Bengaluru). The scooter will be available in Bengaluru from January 27, and will be launched in other metro cities later.

It is powered by a 4.4kW electric motor that has a top speed of 78kmph, which is significantly higher than the Bajaj Chetak’s 60kmph. The Ather 450 does 80kmph. Coming to range, the iQube can do 75km on a full charge similar to Ather, but lower than Chetak (95km).

0-40kph time of iQube is 4.2 seconds. There are two modes – economy and power. There’s regenerative braking as well.

Like other electric scooters, the TVS iQube too has connected technology with features such as geo-fencing, remote battery charge status, navigation assist, last park location and incoming call alerts/SMS alerts.
