For years, cars have been capitalizing on the growing interest for gadgets and technologies such as touchscreens, Bluetooth audio, smart AI commands, etc.
For the 1st time now, two-wheeler manufacturer TVS is looking to cash in on the trend. The Chennai-based maker has launched a Bluetooth enabled scooter named Jupiter Grande. The scooter is priced at Rs 62,346 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Jupiter Grande can be connected via Android and iOS mobile apps. It can display call notifications, text notifications, over speeding alerts and trip reports.
The scooter features LED headlamp, diamond-cut alloy wheels and an adjustable rear shock absorber.
It is powered by a 109.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 7.89 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 8.4 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. It is mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and has disc brake at the front.
