Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: The Twin Cities in Odisha are almost free of COVID-19 as one positive case from Bhubaneswar and two from Cuttack were reported in the last 24 hours.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) the lone positive case was identified in Khandagiri. The 34-year-old male was affected through local contacts. Four persons have recovered from the disease.
The capital city has so far registered total 31,857 positive cases while 31,392 patients have recovered and 246 have succumbed. There are 198 active cases at present.
Similarly in the Millennium City, of the two positive cases, one was from quarantine centre and another from local contacts, according to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
The city has total caseload of 16,338 while 16,201 persons have recovered. As many as 87 people have succumbed to the disease and there are 50 active cases at present.
