Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Thursday provided hi-tech kits to as many as 43 police officers working in the twin cities.
“The kits comprise of laptops, smartphones, pen drives, dongles and audio recorders. These modern investigation kits will help the police personnel to collect evidences during their investigation process without tampering them. With these kits, the police officers will preserve clues from the crime scene with the help of smartphones provided with the kits”, Police Commissioner YB Khurania said.
More investigation kits will be provided to all the ACPs and women police stations across the state, Khurania added.
